Hey I too was at the show last night, and this is also my 2nd time seeing lyfe, and he is so real , and it was a wonderful show last night. I got the pleasure of standing next to him up on stage to help him sing the last song of the night. But nothing compares to what you (Alicia) got, that was so great to see him put a smile on your face, i was really happy for you, and I couldn't help but to smile too.
Where do I start? First & foremost, I'm a huge music fan and I've never ever posted my opinion about an artist but Lyfe is so talented, I felt compelled to do so. Lyfe is such an underated singer. His talent is amazing! I mean, do you really listen to the lyrics?? Cry, The River, Smile, She Got Kids, Stingy..........oooow, Stingy. Why can't someone feel that way about me? And Goodbye........was this man living in my house?? It's amazing how much I can relate to these songs, especially being a female. And Lyfe Change? Absolute nothing has changed! Warriors, Will I Ever, It's Real......Lyfe is just as talented, amazing and lyrically perfect as he was on his first two cds.
Now to the concert last night. It was very nice, great, wonderful, amazing. He deserved to be in a different venue but Lyfe can sing anywhere and work it out. Lyfe did an excellent job and if I had planned better, I would travel to Chicago tomorrow to see him at the House of Blues. This is my second time seeing Lyfe in concert and I would go 57 more times. OK, you're asking why 57......it's just a number I threw out there for emphasis. Anyway, Lyfe, you did an excellent job last night. Oh and by the way, thanks for singing "I appreciate you" to me! I can't tell you how you allowing me to come on stage couldn't have come at a better time in my life. You never know how you help & uplift others by small acts of kindness.
Lyfe mentioned some singers are in the game just to get "numbers" but he's in it for the message. You indeed have some tremendous messages for people in all types of situations. You all better take notice.
