I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...Lyfe Jennings gives you real and true to life music. I can be listening to his music and cry one minute and be laughing the next. He gives inspiration to young girls and woman growing up, myself included letting us know that it’s okay to say no to a guy. That we as young girls and woman should realize our worth and the power we hold. That we should think before giving away our innocence because once you do give it away once you make that choice there’s no turning back because it’s gone. He informs young men that being a player or being on pimp status doesn’t last forever that they have to leave "Never Never Land" and grow up and that there’s a beauty in being a family man. He inspires today’s generations to look beyond what you see in front of you and see what’s beyond the horizon, that anything is possible if you keep dreaming. Lyfe is living proof every day that it doesn’t matter where you come from or how bad you’re past or present maybe that it is your choice to what the future holds. He is an artist that I relate too and know that others relate too as well. He gives you the truth without the sugar coating to make it taste better. He brings music back to when music was music, when it wasn’t all about who can dance the best or who has the best club banger; it’s about real music, real soul, and the real him. In twenty years from now I can still see myself rocking to his albums especially Lyfe Change (I Love Old School). He brings Soul, R&B, Jazz, and Hip Hop back to music. He's someone I can listen too with my mom, my siblings, and younger generations of my family. Lyfe's music is like a lesson being taught a lesson that not many young people today learn without first hand experience. Lyfe opens a door to opportunity challenging others to step outside the box of normal and do something different, and be special for it. This is why I'm a fan of Lyfe Jennings and why I feel others should be too.
Lyfe Your Star Truly Shines Bright
You are a truly remarkable artist. Your Baby I’m A Star Concert in Atlanta at Center Stage was my first concert experience and you truly made it an unforgettable memory. Your Performance on stage the way you can work a crowd is amazing. As my mama would say "you gave a performace that only existed in the past".
